Up-Coming Performances
Please remember that we are a house concert so seating is limited to 25/30 people. Most of our shows will consist of two 40 min sets with a 20 min intermission for conversation with the artist and enjoy some refreshments. We will have spring water, coffee, tea and a few local Wines & Beers. We encourage "but not necessary" to bring a snack or side dish to be enjoyed by all.
Kyle Carey: (past show)
Kyle Carey is a New England based folk/celtic recording artist, who has just released debut album ‘Monongah.’ An album produced and recorded in Ireland that follows a less is more strategy, relying on sparse instrumentation, trusting that the songs and their stories will stand on their own. Accompanying Kyle are Vermont-based fiddler Russell McCumber, he spent his formative years under the tutelage of Cape Breton fiddling great Jerry Holland, and his fiddle-style carries the heavy Cape Breton/Irish influence that was Jerry's trademark. And also Neil Fitzgibbon a guitarist from Athlone Ireland which should add to the tradition.
